Freedom Wheels Print in Bold Blues
This print is a modern take on the bronze statue of Freedom by Thomas Crawford that resides atop the U.S. Capitol dome. Here she spins in muted blues, reds, purples, greens, sages and more in the central wheel and then in more vivid hues along the bottom of the print. The spidery blossom in the upper left corner is actually made up of the United States' motto of "E Pluribus Unum" hand-lettered by Liz.
